Field Excursion

For those that are interested, we are planning on field visits to selected sites in the Raccoon Creek watershed. These may include, but are not necessarily limited to visits to the following locations:

• Streambank and stream channel restoration reaches on the mainstem of Raccoon Creek
• Culvert replacement sites on Raccoon Creek and Pegamore Creek
• Montane longleaf pine restoration sites in Sheffield Wildlife Management Area
• Bat acoustic monitoring sites in Paulding and Sheffield Wildlife Management Areas

Field excursions will depart from and return to the Kennesaw State University - Kennesaw campus (PDF). We currently anticipate leaving from campus around 9:00am on Saturday morning and returning to campus no later than 3:00pm that same day.
