Campus Map and Parking

On Saturday and Sunday you can park for free in the East Deck (only accessible from Frey Rd), Lot A, and the West Deck. These areas are circled in blue on the map below. The main KSU Entrance is circled in red.

Please take notice, open parking excludes dedicated parking spaces, service vehicle spaces, loading/unloading spaces, handicap spaces, fire lanes, and police spaces.

For GPS directions use Kennesaw State University, 1000 Chastain Road, Kennesaw, GA.

Kennesaw State University's Kennesaw Campus is located in Cobb County, 20 minutes north of Atlanta on I-75 one exit north of Town Center Mall. Take the Chastain Road Exit number 271 and turn left if northbound on I-75 (turn right if southbound). Go to the third light if northbound (second if southbound) and turn right onto Kennesaw State University Drive just beyond the soccer field on your right.

Airport

The closest airport from Kennesaw State is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). 

Shuttle

There is no shuttle service provided by the conference from Hartsfield Jackson Aiport (ATL) to hotels. There are Local Shared-Ride Shuttles which run approximately 15 mins between trips and provide shuttle services to Cobb county. Kennesaw State is in Cobb county. Most shared-ride shuttles pick up on the Green Bus Aisle, which is outside in the Ground Transportation area between the Domestic North and Domestic South Terminals. Taxi

Please visit http://apps.atl.com/Passenger/GroundTransportation/Default.aspx  and navigate to the tab Limousine and Taxi Services and scroll down to Taxis for  information on taxi  services.  Estimated taxi fees are between $65 - $80 from the airport to Kennesaw.  Two companies that we recommend are:

Jet Cab:  $75 

Uber/Lyft

Estimation of UberX from ATL airport is $35-$50  and of Lyft is $30-$45. 

To access Uber or Lyft,

  • download the Uber app or Lyft app from the App Store on iOS or the Play Store on Android,
  • create an account if necessary (you will be asked to provide your credit card information), and
  • request a ride in the app. 

     It will then direct you on where to go to get picked up.

     Note that these fees are depend on the demand which is affected by the time of the day you arrive.
